General Data Protection Regulation Privacy Notice 2018

Under the new GDPR in force from 25th May 2018, we are required by law to document what personal information we keep for all customers.
At the point of quotation, we will take your name, address & a contact telephone numbers, an email address if your enquiry is via email. 


All previous (and future) customers who have made a booking, which records all the information above and the date of the booking are written into our diary which is held securely, by Geoff Seaman. If booked via email, the information is also held on our email account, which is password protected and only we have access to. 


We keep this information for tax purposes, proof of work for HMRC. All information is kept for five years, after which it will be securely destroyed, unless you remain a customer through repeat work. 


You do have the right to see any information we keep and you can request that any data be changed or securely destroyed.
We do not use the information for anything other than to contact you regarding your work requirements.


We will not pass your personal information to any third party.


We will not use your personal information for marketing purposes.


Any information given to us via the message services on our social media accounts, is only accessible by us. Once we have recorded the details and confirmed a booking, we will delete any messages containing personal information.


Any information you have given via text message one of our mobile phones, is accessible only by us and our phones are locked with security codes Again once we have recorded the details in the diary, we will delete any messages containing your personal information.
